Twenty years on the scene, concerts full of infectious energy and countless musical transformations. British band The Horrors are heading to Prague's Fuchs2 club on February 22, 2026 to present their new album Night Life and an even darker show than fans have been used to.
The Horrors present "Night Life Reconstructed" performed by Faris Badwan, Rhys Webb and Amelia Kidd. The British musical trio is heading to Europe for a series of unique performances. You can look forward to a darker, club-tinged rendition of their sixth studio album, complete with fan favourites - all backed by analogue drums and energetic bass lines. Night Life's sixth studio album was released in March 2025 under Fiction Records, and featured contributions from both original and new band members.
Formed in 2005 in Southend-on-Sea, England, the band initially attracted attention for their extravagant look, which was reminiscent of gothic glam punk. Their first shows were wild, short and extremely raw - just like their first recordings sounded. Debut single "Sheena Is a Parasite" and subsequent album Strange House (2007) offered a blend of garage rock, punk and horror aesthetics that soon became the band's hallmark - not only because of frontman Faris Badwan's charisma on stage, but also his distinctive vocal delivery.
The turning point in their career came with their second album Primary Colours (2009), produced by Geoff Barrow of Portishead. On it, the band abandoned their original raw sound and moved towards dark psychedelia, shoegaze and post-punk. The move paid off - the album earned them a Mercury Prize nomination and the respect of music critics around the world.
It was the album Skying (2011) that definitively confirmed their position on the British alternative scene - it brought hits like "Still Life" and showed that The Horrors are not just an ordinary music and fashion project, but a band with deep creative potential. Don't miss their show at Fuchs2!
