Avalanche Party (UK)

26/03/25 Café In The Woods

British garage-punkers Avalanche Party are heading to Prague. They will bring their unbridled show, full of playing with punk subgenres, to us as part of their tour for their planned album DER TRAUM UBER ALLES. Tickets are on sale from Thursday, December 12th, 11:00 a.m. at GoOut.net. Tickets online: https://goout.net/cs/listky/avalanche-party/gfqcb/

Avalanche Party was formed in 2014 in England. The band consisting of Joe Bell (vocals), Jordan Bell (drums), Jared Thorpe (guitar) and Kane Waterfield (bass) burst onto the music scene with the EP "The Avalanche Party". It wasn't until 2019 that they introduced their full-length debut to the world. "24 Carat Diamond Trephine" received decent reviews from music journalists, who described it as a progressive, hard-hitting piece of music that the music scene has been getting very little of. Raw guitar riffs, dramatic lyrics about the human psyche, self-destructive thoughts, alienation, and hypnotic atmosphere. These are the elements that got Avalanche Party on the stages of Reading & Leeds and SXSW festivals in the USA.

"If someone asked us where they should listen to our music, we would say that it is suitable for all situations. Enclosed and open spaces. Play it in the shower or in the bath. It doesn't matter. And if anyone disagrees with that statement, they probably haven't found the right song yet. If you need a soundtrack for cooking, for running, for summer relaxation - there's something for everyone from the Avalanche Party range," the band let us hear in an interview with Secret Eclectic. "Describe our music in three words? Um, big, dirty and smelly. People say we're awfully wild," said drummer Jordan Bell in another interview with foreign publication Native.

In recent months, Avalanche Party have unveiled tasters from their upcoming album DER TRAUM UBER ALLES, with the single Collateral Damage even receiving support from BBC Radio 1, BBC 6, Radio X and more. Recorded at the hallowed stuid of Rancho De La Luna in Joshua Tree, California, with producer Dave Catching, the LP retains the band's typically wild and animalistic elements. The first half of the record is even described by the band itself as sonic exorcism and occult primal screams of the 21st century. To celebrate the release of the new album, the band will bring it to us on March 26, 2025. One thing is for sure - Café V lese under the baton of these savages will not stay still for a while. Don't miss it!
