Canadian indie rock band Moondoggy is heading to Café v lese. Already on May 25, 2026, they will bring to Prague their anticipated album Around the Fire and a load of infectious energetic melodies that will not leave fans sitting still. Tickets for 440 CZK are on sale now at GoOut.net.
Moondoggy are a Canadian band from Toronto, forging their own path through contemporary indie rock while unabashedly leaning on a classic rock feel inspired by Pink Floyd, among others. Since forming around 2019, they've built a sound built on catchy guitars, distinctive melodies and imaginative instrumentation, with saxophone playing an important role. It's what gives their songs a slightly nostalgic yet fresh vibe. The music of moondogga is simply exceptionally natural - as if it was created without the pressure of current trends, but with an emphasis on emotions and the joy of playing.
The foursome of friends already drew attention to themselves with their debut album Mad and Noisy from 2023, which captures the band at its most vibrant. The songs are energetic, melodic and have an infectious drive that quickly found the moondogs their audience. The second album, Changing Seasons, Breaking Even (2024), then brings calmer postures and a greater emphasis on capturing atmosphere and emotion without the band losing its naturalness. It's a record that works both with concentrated listening and as a soundtrack for car journeys.
But the power of moondogga is not only in the studio recordings - their music works even more in direct contact with fans during concerts. The band has a close, human feel and offers music that fans return to again and again. They find in it sincerity, comfort and energy, which moondoggy will also bring to Prague's Café V lese as part of their tour, along with their anticipated album Around The Fire. Don't miss their concert!
