Australian singer, songwriter and producer Hayden Calnin is heading to Prague. The artist, whose music balances between intimate folk and dreamy electronica, and is often compared to Bon Iver or James Blake, will perform on 20 February 2026 at Café V lese, where he will present his latest work and best-known hits. Hayden Calnin is a singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist who is one of the most prominent faces on the Australian indie scene. He started playing music at a young age and later studied film and sound design in Melbourne, which strongly influenced his approach to making music. In fact, Calnin has gained attention for the frequent use of his compositions in films and TV shows - his music has been featured in Suits, The Vampire Diaries, The Good Doctor and the trailers for the Oscar-winning film Room. His songs combine acoustic elements with electronica. Under his baton, ethereal, dreamy melodies are created, complemented by introspective lyrics from life.
He burst onto the scene with his debut EP City (2012), which he followed up two years later with the ambitious EP Oh, Hunter. His double album Cut Love (2016) was equally acclaimed, showcasing Calnin's ability to create emotive, cinematic tracks. Recent releases and singles have been sensitively informed by philosophical themes, natural inspirations and the search for human identity. Hayden's music has not escaped the eye of music critics. Publications such as Atwood Magazine and American Songwriter have praised his sense of atmosphere and his ability to combine music with imagery - not for nothing has his work been described as a "living musical landscape".
